Haran 12 years, finished in cider cask. 43 % ABV. 100% Malt.

Whiskey from the Basque Country. Since 1831.

Eyes:

Quite dark amber, dense, oily.Nose:Peaty, astringent, quite sweet, honeyed.Smooth. Fruity aroma, toffee, grass, some licorice.

Mouth:

Sweet, astringent, slightly spicy taste.Rough at the end.

Adding some water.

Eyes:

Cloudy color, very oily.

Nose:

Caramel aroma, fruit candies. Strawberry. Some acid, cherry, blueberry. Notes of baked apples comes out.

Mouth:

Very soft, fresh, light. Syrup, smoke. More woody and spicy. Sweet, astringent. Again syrup. A hint of citric. Anise.
