-Is there an explanation to the name Residence?
It was already called that, it was put on by a DJ who set up a lounge joint. The Residence of the Resident Dj 😅 But I liked it and I thought, it’s going to be my residence, I’m going to put in more hours than anyone else here and, furthermore, the idea is to set up a bar where I would like to drink, that’s how it stays.

-One of the first whiskys you tried?
DYC and Johnnie Black. My first contact, in a way of speaking, was with Glenfiddich’s cans of clans illustrations, back in the 80s. My father gave them to me and I used them to store the Lego pieces. I also loved drawings.

-Scotland, Ireland or USA?
SCOTLAND!

-A mixer with whisky?
Sometimes few. Soda or Ginger Ale.

-A cocktail with whisky?
A lot, in a glass. LOL…. From the classics, Boulevardier, Brooklyn, Old Fashioned …

-Peated, not peated or according to the moment?
Depending on the moment, but if I can only choose one option, Peated.

-Fan of cask strength?
A lot.

-Hay explicación al nombre Residence?
Ya se llamaba así, se lo puso un Dj que montó un garito lounge. La Residencia del Dj Residente 😅 Pero me gustó y pensé, va a ser mi residencia, voy a meter más horas que nadie aquí y, además, la idea es montar un bar donde yo a mí me gustaría beber, así se queda.

-Uno de los primeros whiskys que probaste?
DYC y Johnnie Black.
Mi primer contacto, por así decirlo, es con las latas de Glenfiddich de las ilustraciones de los clanes, allá por los 80. Mi padre me las daba y yo las usaba para guardar las piezas de lego. Además me encantaban los dibujos, jeje

A veces, pocas. Soda o Ginger Ale.
-Un cocktail con whisky?
Mucho, en un vaso. Jajaja….

Según el momento, pero si sólo puedo elegir una opción, Peated.
